CHEMICAL PEEL SERVICES
All chemical peels begin with a client consultation. The consultation is very important so we can determine the best chemical peel to fit your needs. A patch test is required as well, preferably a week before you receive a chemical peel. Chemical peels have different ingredients in each type of peel and we want to insure you have a great experience. We offer very light to light chemical peels. To see the best results, we recommend a series of six chemical peels. These can be purchased individually or in a series. Please see the descriptions for the following chemical peels we offer:
Lactic Acid
The Sanitas Lactic Acid Peel Mask is an easy to use liquid gel formula that is safe and effective for all skin types, but is especially recommended for dry, sensitive (including thinner skin) and aging skin. Lactic Acid allows for a quick, superficial, yet effective, peel. No visible flaking of the epidermal layer will occur which makes the mask an excellent “lunchtime peel”. This is the perfect peel for those who have never had a peel. $80
Alpha Peel
Sanitas Glycolic Peels are recommended for almost everyone, however they are most effective on normal, dry or mature skin. If your skin is healthy, whether dry or oily, a Glycolic Acid peel can help you achieve a fresher look. Glycolic Acid works particularly well on fine lines and wrinkles. The skin will become stronger and more resilient with each treatment. $80
Beta Peel
This peel is great in improving acne and speeding up the healing process from acne. It also helps to lighten hyperpigmentation and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You may experience sloughing of the skin for up to 5 days. This chemical peel is recommended for acneic, oily, or thick skin. $80
Jessner Peel
The Jessner’s Peel is a peeling liquid that allows for rapid, deep skin exfoliation. Jessner’s
solution contains Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Resorcinol and is an ideal treatment for aged, acne prone or hyperpigmented skin. It may also be used to soften superficial scarring. The Jessner’s Peel can be used in a single or multi-layer procedure. The Sanitas Jessner’s Peel is very aggressive and you should expect the skin to flake for a week or more. $80
